Oregon Concealed carry class + Live FIre

Our Oregon Concealed Carry Class consists of ​both classroom and live fire training.  This is an NRA course that meets Oregon's requirements to apply for a Concealed Handgun License. 

Since knowing how to properly handle, manipulate and shoot a firearm is such an important part of responsible gun ownership, our course goes above and beyond the minimum requirements by including live fire training as part of our curriculum. 

​The is an all day class (9am-5pm) that starts with several hours of lecture and an exam done off-site, followed by live fire at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club.  The range is outdoors so students will want to dress accordingly based on the weather conditions.  

Equipment students are expected to bring to class are:
  • Handgun in good working condition
  • Case for your handgun
  • Chamber flag (required by Douglas Ridge Rifle Club)
  • 50 rounds of ammo appropriate for your handgun
  • Eye protection (prescription glasses are fine)
  • Ear protection (electronic earpro is best, but not required)
  • Hat (to help protect you from hot flying brass)
  • Comfortable closed toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops will be allowed)
  • High neck shirt (no low cut or V-neck clothing for hot brass to find it's way into)
  • A positive attitude and be ready to have a great time!

Cost of the class includes all range fees, targets and instruction.

The demand for this class is high and space is limited to 8 students per class, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible if you want to get into this class.
