dynamic pistol 101

Our Dynamic Pistol 101 course is a intro/intermediate pistol class that is perfect for anyone who has taken some beginner level training and has a good understanding of basic firearm safety and the fundamentals of shooting.

This is also a great course for those who have a little more shooting experience, but haven't trained in while, need a good refresher and are looking to advance their shooting skills beyond the basics.

Dynamic Pistol 101 starts out with a handgun safety brief and thorough review of the fundamentals of accurate pistol shooting including proper grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, focus, breathing, trigger press and recoil control.

Students will then progress to more advanced dynamic skills such as magazine reloads, drawing from a holster and performing several shooting drills to take your skills and confidence with your firearm to the next level.

This is an all day class (10am-4pm) that will be held at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club on the Tactical Shotgun Bay.  This is an outdoor range and does not have a covered shooting area, so students will want to dress accordingly based on weather conditions.
